We are delighted to welcome Professor John Turner (Queen's University Belfast) back to CASFI.

During his stay in April 2026, John Turner will continue his research on the global history of financial crises, with a particular focus on the relationship between finance and inequality in the context of banking failure. His work examines long-term patterns of financial instability and their economic and social consequences across different historical settings.

We are pleased to have him with us again and look forward to another inspiring and productive period of research.
