Federica Romei is collaborating on a joint project with Christian Bayer, Moritz May, and Silvia Miranda Agrippino. In her stay in February, she and Christian Bayer worked on analyzing the properties of the model they developed, with a particular focus on linking the theoretical framework to the empirical component. Now she works on understanding the empirical component of the model. Federica has also begun discussions on a potential second project, examining the relationship between U.S. growth and Chinese capital inflows into the United States.
Sergio de Ferra works on the relationship between inequality and capital flows, and on a model of heterogeneous countries and sovereign default in a monetary union.
We are glad that both of them will also be hosting sessions at the Annual CASFI Conference on August 28–29.
