On August 28–29, 2025, the University Club Bonn will host the first Annual Conference of the Center for Advanced Studies Finance & Inequality (CASFI). The two-day event brings together leading international scholars to present cutting-edge research on income and wealth inequality, financial markets, and economic policy.
Across six sessions, participants will discuss topics ranging from historical perspectives on inequality to the role of preferences in wealth mobility and the macroeconomic implications of household heterogeneity. Three CASFI Fellows will take on roles as session chairs: Sergio de Ferra will lead Session 3 on Friday morning, Federica Romei will chair Session 4 late morning, and John D. Turner will guide Session 5 in the afternoon.
The conference offers a unique platform for scholarly exchange and for strengthening CASFI’s mission to foster high-level research on finance and inequality.
